An authentic experience in a relaxing atmosphere surrounded by Tuscan nature
The history of Villa Orsini
Villa Orsini in Querceto is an ancient historic residence located in the municipality of Peccioli, in the province of Pisa, in Tuscany, Italy. The villa takes its name from the Orsini family, a Roman noble family, who acquired the property at the end of the 18th century. The villa dates back to the 16th century and underwent a series of extensions and renovations over the following centuries. The main facade of the villa, which overlooks the surrounding Tuscan countryside, has a portico with six columns. The villa has numerous rooms with antique furnishings and historic paintings. Over the years, the villa has been owned by various Italian noble families, including the Orsini, the Corsini and the Panciatichi. During the Second World War, the villa was occupied by German troops, but it survived the war events without suffering serious damage. In recent years, the villa has undergone a complete restoration, which has made it possible to recover and preserve the original architectural and artistic elements of the property. Villa Orsini in Querceto is today a location for events, weddings and touristic stays.
